Noni Fruit

This strange-looking tropical fruit has a long and rich history. Since 1,600 years ago, this fruit has been used for treatment by the ancient Polynesian healers to treat various diseases associated with respiratory system, digestive, nervous system, and the human immune system.

Noni fruit grows on small trees or shrubs which are found in many tropical islands in the Indonesian archipelago and the Pacific. Noni has a long history and is regarded as one of the most important ingredients for traditional medicines used by the Kahunas, the healers of the Polynesian islands.

Noni fruit was called 'canoe' as chosen by the pioneers as the fruit is important to bring along in their canoes as they ventured out to build new villages across the vast Pacific Ocean.
Traditionally, Noni has been used to treat various symptoms of the disease, such as joint pain, immune problems, colds, infections, gastrointestinal diseases, injuries, and swelling. Ancient Polynesian tribes also used Noni for food and clothing dye, but especially noni plant was used for its medicinal properties.
